In the book, Ask and It is Given by Jerry and Esther Hicks, they present us with the Emotional Guidance Scale. This scale is divided into the upward and the downward spirals which allow us to pinpoint where we spend most of our time, and to choose a better-feeling emotion. Based on the Law of Attraction, you attract like-emotions into your reality. That’s why you feel pretty much the same way today that you felt yesterday. You can use the scale to help you have a better tomorrow.
Law of Attraction:
This Law creates things, events, and people that come into our lives, through our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions. All these thoughts and actions are energy that we place out to the world attracting like energies. In other words placing a negative energy out to the world will attract other negative energies and putting out a positive energy will attract other positive energies.
Lets take a moment to see where these Emotions come from. (Spoiler alert! They come from your Thinking/Thoughts!)
It all starts with your BS …… Belief Systems, that is.
Your Belief System is made up of Thoughts that you think over and over again.
Your Belief System colors your Perception.
Your Perception colors the way that you see yourself, others, and the world.
The way that you Perceive yourself, others, and the world colors your thinking/Thoughts.
The Thoughts that you think cause your body to release chemicals that match your Thoughts into your bloodstream
These Chemicals cause you to feel the way that you feel (Emotions).
Your Emotions impact the Choices you make and the Actions that you take.
The Choices that you make and the Actions that you take create your Reality!
Since you are the ONLY ONE who can control what you do with your Thoughts, you are the only one who creates your reality. Get back in the drivers seat!
The Law of Correspondence:
This Law places us in the drivers’ seat of our own life. Your outer world will be a direct reflection of your inner world, accepting responsibility for your life. This law takes us out of the victim role making us the sole creator of our own life.
Wanna start feeling better today and start moving up the Emotional Guidance Scale?
Start off by giving yourself and others Grace for the “Sins” of the past (times when you and they “missed the mark”)
Find a higher emotion on the Emotional Guidance Scale and gradually move up the scale.
